Finding the right person to manage our operations was one of the most important decisions we made when starting Copper Coffee. We knew this position was critical to ensure our customers always receive their coffee on time. After spending several hours of intense deliberation, we landed on the following job description:

• Dairy farm worker
• Lawn service worker
• Ceramic mold factory worker
• Waiter
• Substitute teacher
• High school football, baseball, and golf coach
• High school teacher (minimum 35 years)

Somehow we landed on a candidate who met every single one of our demands (and he happens to be my dad). Weeks can get fairly crazy trying to grow the business but it’s nice to know we have someone to rely on when it comes to packaging and shipping coffee. Unfortunately, he can be a problem on the golf course…
